I wrote the constitutional amendment to ban an income tax. It would have barred any tax on wages or personal income.
All but four Democrat politicians voted it down, including the incumbents in Canaan and Enfield, who then tried to create a progressive income tax. CACR10
No income tax. No sales tax. I wrote the amendment. I signed the pledge. I will vote to put the ban on the ballot until it gets there.
